I began my writing career as a journalist writing hard news, feature articles and humorous essays. I have sold short stories to magazines in the horror, confession, religious and humor markets. So far I have published three humorous mysteries, a romance, a romantic suspense novel, a straight mystery and a non-fiction novel about my adventures as a volunteer at the San Diego Sheriff’s department. For the past year I’ve conducted a monthly two-hour Writing Workshop teaching new writers craft and sharing writing information and tips with my students. I write full time from my home in southern California where I live with her husband, Dennis, and our two yellow Labrador retrievers, Tara and Duke.
